About Me

I’m Anton Siekmann and I study Business Informatics (B.Sc.) at TU Munich (since 08/2024). I’m mainly interested in how to use data and software to create measurable improvements in day-to-day business operations.

What I enjoy working on #

I’m most comfortable with work that needs both technical understanding and business context. Typical topics for me are:

• Preparing, analyzing, and communicating data clearly (dashboards/reports, clear KPIs)
• Backend work when things need to be implemented (e.g., APIs, database integrations, clean interfaces)
• Building solutions that are structured and easy to follow: clear structure, pragmatic tools, and results that can be traced and explained

Experience #

CarSync GmbH (Vispiron Group), Munich — Internship (08/2025–09/2025) #

I worked on backend microservices (including REST and MySQL) and also built Sisense dashboards. Along the way, I gained practical exposure to Scrum and day-to-day collaboration in a team.

Beckhoff Automation, Minden — Internship (03/2022–04/2022) #

Small embedded/hardware-focused project: building an Arduino-based setup (Java/C++). During my school internship at Beckhoff Automation, I built a small weather station with a humidity sensor, temperature sensor, and a display. From designing the circuit board, to soldering the components, to programming the sensors and the display, the internship confirmed that I’m on the right track and want to keep developing my technical interests.

Orthodontic Practice Dr. Heike Siekmann, Bielefeld — Support (03/2019–04/2022) #

Training and confident use of OnyxCeph (digital orthodontics; 3D dental models). As part of a school internship at Dr. Heike Siekmann’s orthodontic practice, I worked on creating 3D dental models and preparing them for printing.
